One guided path
Moat Studio guides Drop, Identify, Create, Originality, Clarity, Strengthen, Defend, Build, Scale and Exit. Start with a reading in the Moat workspace, then open the case’s Studio. Server-saved progress lets you return and continue.
What each step gives you
- Drop: add an idea or supporting evidence.
- Identify: explore possible competitive advantages.
- Create: shape a clear moat statement.
- Originality: examine what makes the approach distinct.
- Clarity: make the idea easier to explain.
- Strengthen: choose a practical improvement.
- Defend: consider ways to protect an advantage.
- Build: prepare useful working assets.
- Scale: consider how the advantage could grow.
- Exit: prepare a clear story for potential partners.
These are tools for investigation and preparation, not guarantees of growth, protection, funding or an exit.
Read the status before acting
Each step shows its status, token cost and the plan it needs. Locked means your plan does not include the step; the Studio offers the plan comparison instead of running it. Ready means you can run it. Running means a response is being prepared. Done records a saved result. Needs input means the step before it has no result yet. Error means the last attempt did not finish; you can retry. Selecting a step does not itself run it, spend tokens or mark it complete: only Run, Retry or Strengthen this sends a request.
Plans and token cost
Drop, Identify and Create are the reading: one Moat Index reading covers all three, on every plan. Originality through Exit are part of Pro and Ultra, and each run costs the Studio step price shown on pricing. The cost is shown before you run a step; a run that fails is refunded. Admin accounts are charged like members.
Choose the next action
Responses separate verdicts, key points, choices, evidence and next actions. Partial responses are still arriving; failed attempts offer retry. Returned text needs your judgement and independent verification. Read pricing and tokens for monthly Studio tokens and packs.
