Quick start

Drop your deck, review the reading, then share deliberately.

1. Prepare your evidence

Sign in and open the Moat workspace. Add a deck within your plan's limits (Original Minds: PDF, up to 5 MB. Pro and Ultra: PDF, PowerPoint (.pptx), Markdown, Excel (.xlsx) or CSV, up to 20 MB.) or describe the company. Include dated facts about customers, rights, operations and competitors. The normal upload flow deletes the original file right after it is read; the reading and extracted information are separate records. See deck uploads. Submit only material you are entitled to share; review the privacy notice and subprocessors before including sensitive information.

2. Read the result

Read the Moat Index with its range, confidence, date, evidence and weakest barrier. Distinguish deck assertions from independently supported facts. Investigate missing evidence without strengthening unsupported claims. The public example illustrates the format with an invented company.

3. Decide what to share

Inspect the Moat asset and share controls before creating a link or opt-in board post. Private readings never automatically publish your company. Review the public view and exclude confidential documents. Evidence and sharing explains each disclosure surface.

4. Improve and return

Implement a Designer move and add proof before reassessing. Identical evidence under the same method returns the stored reading; changed evidence can lower or raise the assessment. Viewing an existing reading costs no tokens.
