Global MDI & Moat Type Index

Read the public research views without confusing them with company rankings.

Open the public views

Global MDI, the Global Moat Defender Index, brings together measured views of defensibility. The current public Moat Type Index compares fourteen types on evidence, AI durability and momentum. It names no companies. The page gives the snapshot date so you can distinguish a published build from live observations.

Read each signal separately

Research context and AI durability are separate from company readings. AI durability states a qualitative direction with an explanation. Momentum measures topic activity in published windows, without assessing returns or company growth. Not measured means unavailable data, never zero. Read each type page.

Company comparisons are separate

A company reading and a moat-type research view answer different questions. The planned Builder Index and comparable company cohorts are Coming; this public snapshot does not establish a global company league table. A private company must not be assumed published because it has a reading: the stated Global MDI design requires owner opt-in.

Share with context

Use the type page's share controls or link to the dated public view. Retain the type, signal and snapshot context in any interpretation. None of these views recommends an investment or promises that a particular barrier will hold.
