How do builders develop a moat?
Builders use MoatDefender to examine an advantage and choose the next evidence to collect. Moat Studio records the work and its current status. A proposed action does not establish that a barrier has strengthened.
Does MoatDefender verify every business claim?
MoatDefender does not independently verify every business claim in a reading. A cited source still requires examination for relevance, date and limits. Certification means methodology verification only and does not establish investment quality.
Are my readings and company materials public?
No: a private Moat Index reading does not automatically publish your company or submitted material. Sharing is a separate choice. A board post requires owner publication, and public member name and reading visibility have separate opt-ins. A share link grants access deliberately. Review the actual share settings and draft privacy notice before submitting sensitive material or circulating links.
