Deck uploads

Compare plan upload formats and limits and understand what is retained.

Choose a supported file

In the Moat workspace or Dropzone, follow your plan's limits: Original Minds reads PDF up to 5 MB; Pro and Ultra read PDF, PowerPoint (.pptx), Markdown (.md or .markdown), Excel (.xlsx) and CSV up to 20 MB. A file over your limit or in a format your plan does not read is refused with a message that names the limit. Older .ppt files are not supported: export them to .pptx or PDF first. If an upload is unavailable, follow the message on the page rather than assuming the file was read.

The original file is deleted after reading

The normal upload flow deletes the original file right after reading, rather than keeping it as your account's document archive. If immediate deletion fails, a cleanup process retries; it also removes abandoned uploads. This does not mean the resulting reading or extracted information is deleted. Review evidence and sharing and the privacy notice for those records.

Prepare a useful deck

Include dated facts about customer benefits, competitors, rights and operations. Readability does not verify a claim. Share only permitted material, remove unnecessary personal or confidential information and check the result against sources.
