This policy is part of the Terms of Service. We may suspend access or revoke tokens that break it.
You must not
- Submit material you have no right to share, such as another company's confidential documents, or personal data you have no lawful basis to share.
- Submit special-category personal data (health, ethnicity, religion and so on) or data about criminal offences.
- Try to manipulate a reading: hidden instructions in a deck, prompt injection, invented evidence, or repeated resubmission to fish for a different number.
- Present a reading as investment advice, a certification, an endorsement or a rating by MoatDefender, or edit a share card.
- Scrape the site, the share pages or the API, or build a dataset of readings, without written permission.
- Probe, scan or attack the Service, bypass rate limits or access controls, or access another account's data. Report security issues instead (see Security).
- Use the Service to break the law, including securities, consumer, competition and data-protection law.
MCP server, API and CLI
- Keep tokens secret. Do not put them in public repositories, shared prompts or client-side code.
- Give AI agents the smallest scope they need. An agent that only reads needs only
read. - Do not let an agent spend tokens without a person's confirmation unless you accept the cost.
- Respect the rate limits. Automated bulk scoring needs a separate agreement.
